Beginning on May 5, 2025, SCTC will now open from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.  This change will allow our staff to prepare for upcoming statewide DMV software updates, ensuring a smooth transition and continued excellent service.

Important Update: Business Tax Receipt Applications & Renewals

You can now apply for Business Tax Receipts online. Beginning April 1st, you may drop-off your physical application and check payment at any of our branch offices (payable to the Seminole County Tax Collector). Your application and payment will be forwarded to the Business Tax Department. Please allow 3 to 4 business days for processing.

Our Offices Provide Motor Vehicle & DriverLicense Services for Seminole County Residents Only

Our offices provide motor vehicle and driver license services for Seminole County residents only. Concealed weapons permits, birth certificates, hunting and fishing licenses and self-service tag renewal kiosks are available to all Florida residents.

Birth Certificates are Unavailable

Our offices are unable to issue birth certificates at this time due to a temporary outage with the Florida Department of Health and Vital Statistics. All county health departments can assist the public with Vital Statistics offline. Please visit their website below for more information.
