Driver License and Identification Card

Our offices serve as an agent to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to offer driver license and identification services to Seminole County residents.

Seminole County Tax Collector driver license and ID services are only available for Seminole County residents.
Before visiting our offices, we encourage you to check your license status to ensure you have all the proper documentation require to complete your transaction.

Road testing is available at our Casselberry branch by appointment only.

Real ID Enforcement

All Florida driver licenses and IDs must be REAL ID compliant by May 7, 2025. If you have a gold star on your Florida license or ID card, you are already REAL ID complaint.

All customers who are not REAL ID compliant are required to provide:

Original/certified copy of an original US birth certificate and chain of original or certified documents to link to current name (i.e. marriage license, divorce decree, death certificate) or current U.S. passport
Social Security card
Two current proofs of residential address reflecting address to be shown on license or ID card (all address proofs must be dated within the last 60 days)

This applies to all transactions, whether it is an original, renewal, or replacement license or ID card.
