Making a Request

Online Public Records Request Portal

To ensure timely and efficient processing of public records requests, the Seminole County Tax Collector’s Office recommends submitting requests through our Online Public Records Request Portal.

This portal provides the fastest method for:

  • Submitting detailed requests
  • Tracking request progress
  • Receiving electronic updates and records

Individuals are able to submit requests anonymously via our online portal; please note that if no contact or delivery information is provided, our office may not have a way to return the requested records to you. This may result in additional delays until a method of delivery is supplied. Information provided as part of a public records request may be released in response to a public records request, unless it is exempt or confidential.

Other Available Submission Methods

In accordance with Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, public records requests do not need to be in writing or require a requester to show proof of identification. The following methods remain available for anyone wishing to use them:

Phone:

(407) 665-7648

In Person:

Seminole County Tax Collector’s Office locations

Mail:

Seminole County Tax Collector
Attn: Public Records Custodian
P.O. Box 630
Sanford, FL 32772-0630

We will respond to all public records requests received through any method; however, requests submitted through the online portal typically allow for quicker processing and more efficient communication.
